One Sunny Day in May...

One of our favourite photographers, Andrew Coulter, shot a cracking wedding in May at Lantallack this year. The following is from a blog he posted about the day:

You couldn’t really ask for much more of a summer wedding than Sarah & Simon’s wedding day at the very beautiful Lantallack near Saltash in Cornwall.  What a day!  Sarah & Simon married in Lantallack’s Old Cart Barn before their Cornish Cream tea and Barbecue reception.  We were treated to a fantastic day with gorgeous late evening light, and it was still warm enough to be in shirt sleeves past sunset.  Thanks to Sarah & Simon for a lovely day, and I know they’re looking forward to seeing these photos!  Here are the highlights of their wedding day, and the full gallery can be viewed on my recent weddings section.

It was a first for bagpipes at Lantallack last weekend and a total surprise for Jo and James too! The Mother-of-the-bride had organised a piper (as a surprise) to play to the bride and groom as they took their first entrance as a married couple into the marquee. Smiles all round and a very evocative sound!
